A promover uma pesquisa genealógica sobre os Wahnon desde 1985 - e tendo publicado a 1ª genealogia em 2000 em CDRom - desde o início fiquei admirado com com os rumos que uma antiga família judia do século XVII pôde tomar ao longo dos tempos, todos os seus ramos e as novas pátrias, as espantosas histórias encontradas, os rostos e os lugares,

-  as vidas dos nossos antepassados!

Com a ajuda entusiástica de alguns dos seus membros e de registos oficiais,  um enorme trabalho genealógico foi possível ao longo destes tempos e grande parte da história da família pode agora ser contada 

às gerações presentes e a todas as futuras.

O nome é uma herança de família mas o que podemos contar acerca dele é o seu património.

Partilhemo-lo então com todos os descendentes.

Doing a genealogical research in Wahnon since 1985 - and published the first genealogy in 2000 in CDRom - soon I was amazed with the paths that an ancient Jewish family from the XVII century could take all over the time, the all new branches and new homelands, the amazing stories found, faces and places, 

- our ancestor's lifes!

With the enthusiastic help from some of his members and official records, a huge genealogical work was possible for all these years

and a great part of the  family history may now be told

to present and all future generations.

The surname it's a family heritage but what we can tell about it is the family patrimony.

Let's share it with the all descendants.
